Welcome to my vibrant educational space! I am thrilled share my journey with you! After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from Menlo College, I followed my heart into education, where I could truly make a difference in children's lives. With teacher training from Notre Dame de Namur University and hands-on experience in the Palo Alto, Lodi, and Mount Diablo Unified School Districts, I’ve discovered that every child deserves a unique approach to learning. As a lifelong learner and credentialed teacher, I'm passionate about empowering students to build confidence, curiosity, and essential skills in a fun and supportive environment. Through my initiative, The Chalkboard, I'm dedicated to transforming education to meet each individual needs. Back in a classroom of 30, I passionately focused on hands-on experiences and small group activities. I truly believe that getting to know each student's unique motivations is the key to unlocking their and creating positive academic experiences!"
I’m Emira, a teacher-turned-parent coach who believes kids learn best when curiosity leads the way. I’ve taught K–4, co-taught in a Montessori homeschool program, and started Chalkboard to Change to help families take charge of their child’s learning.
