Education Advocacy
Education Advocacy & Parent Partnership
As a former elementary teacher, I provide education advocacy support for families navigating homeschool charter programs. This service helps parents effectively communicate, collaborate, and advocate for their child with their homeschool charter teacher or education specialist.
Because this work is connected to the instructional support I provide your student, I share meaningful observations about learning progress, curriculum expectations, and scope and sequence. Together, we look at where your child is now, identify learning goals, and discuss practical steps to support their growth.
Parents are active partners in this process. My goal is to empower families with the insight, questions, and strategies needed to confidently support their child’s learning journey.

Former teacher insight to help parents understand learning progress, navigate homeschool charters, and advocate with confidence.

As a credentialed former elementary teacher, I help families navigate homeschool charter services so they can make the most impactful decisions for their child’s learning. Through observations from tutoring and conversations with parents, I provide insight into whether supports such as dyslexia intervention, speech therapy, occupational therapy, or other individualized learning services may be beneficial. I also serve as a knowledgeable sounding board—helping parents validate their observations, organize next steps, and confidently advocate for the supports that will best help their child thrive.

Similar to how an education attorney may be brought in as an expert member of a team, I provide professional insight to help homeschool families navigate charter services and supports. As a credentialed former teacher, I offer guidance on potential accommodations, learning tools, curriculum supports, and specialized services based on observations and assessment data. My role is to help parents clarify next steps, communicate effectively with their charter team, and advocate for the resources that will best support their child’s growth and learning potential.
